Health Insurance For Your Pets

But after several sick cats, the next feline I have will be treated to some pet health insurance. I’m still paying for some major surgery on one of my guys who is no longer with us! A lot of the time, pet health care won’t touch the extremes human health care can go to, but there’s a big difference between wanting an x-ray, and paying for an x-ray. For a small per-month premium, just like our insurance, you can ensure that the bigger things won’t break your piggy bank. Many policies also include all shots and vaccinations, so for a healthy animal, you’d only wind up paying for your premiums. You may think that you’d be better saving money by not having insurance, but it’s pretty hard to make the choice of putting down a beloved family member because you can’t afford something that may save his life. You can’t prevent some things, but you may make the maintenance affordable.
