Some companies are cutting back on their strict dress codes and allowing their employees to wear jeans on days other than casual Friday. Just because you are allowed to wear jeans, doesn’t me you should slack on the rest of your outfit.

Wearing a nice shirt and a belt with your jeans is key. Or if allowed you can rock my favorite look a nice tshirt and a blazer. And buy a belt!

Accessories are also key in rocking this look at work. A nice pair of studs go along way to improve your overall look. Also, I know it my seem silly since you can just look at your cell phone, but a nice watch polishes any look.

Hair is also key. Bed head is never appropriate. If you are going to wear your hair up, make sure it looks nice. Bring a brush to work.

The point is, enjoy the new found jean freedom, but don’t go overboard.
